Ingredients

- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 4 (6 to 8 oz.) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Chopped fresh parsley, for serving
Instructions
- Whisk together the garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, rosemary, and thyme in a medium bowl. Season with kosher salt and black pepper.
- Reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade for basting during grilling.
- Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes or overnight.
- Prepare your grill for medium-high heat and preheat for 5 minutes.
- Place the marinated chicken on the grill and baste with the reserved marinade. Grill for about 6 minutes on one side.
- Turn the chicken and grill the other side, basting until cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
- Transfer the chicken to a platter and garnish with parsley.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate overnight and always use a meat thermometer to ensure proper cooking.
