Description

Grilled Honey BBQ Chicken is a delightful dish that combines sweetness and savory flavors, perfect for family gatherings and barbecues.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 to 3 tablespoons sriracha (optional)
  • 2 to 4 cloves garlic (finely minced or pressed)
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1.25 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast tenders
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley (optional for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except for the optional fresh herbs into a large zip-top plastic bag.
  2. Seal the bag and squish the contents around until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Place the bag in the fridge to marinate for at least 1 hour (overnight is ideal).
  4. Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 7 minutes, flipping intermittently until it reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Chicken can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 4 months. Marinating overnight is recommended for enhanced flavors.
