Description

Delicious low-carb ground beef lettuce wraps filled with flavor and fresh ingredients, perfect for a quick dinner or entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Lettuce leaves (for wrapping)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: chopped green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add minced ginger and garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in bell pepper and shredded carrot. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Add soy sauce and sesame oil; mix well and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Spoon the mixture into lettuce leaves and add any optional toppings as desired.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Select fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Don’t rush the browning of the beef to develop a rich flavor. Consider prepping the beef mixture a day in advance.
