Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Lettuce leaves (for wrapping)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: chopped green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add minced ginger and garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Stir in bell pepper and shredded carrot. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Add soy sauce and sesame oil; mix well and season with salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat.
- Spoon the mixture into lettuce leaves and add any optional toppings as desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Select fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Don’t rush the browning of the beef to develop a rich flavor. Consider prepping the beef mixture a day in advance.
