Description

A hearty and creamy ground beef stroganoff served over egg noodles, perfect for family meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
  4. Add Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, beef broth, and all-purpose flour. Stir well to combine and let simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the sour cream, mixing until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and serve with the beef stroganoff on top.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Reheat in a skillet, adding broth if needed.
