Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk or half-and-half
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or cheddar-jack blend)
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing dish)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until well combined.
  3. Stir in the diced ham and shredded cheddar cheese, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the top.
  5. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden and slightly crispy.
  6. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
