  • 1 box of angel food cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Prepare the angel food cake according to the box instructions. Once baked, allow it to cool completely before proceeding.
  2. Combine the crushed pineapple (with juice), mini marshmallows, and shredded coconut in a mixing bowl. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
  3. Whip the heavy cream in another bowl until soft peaks begin to form. Gradually add the powdered sugar, continuing to whip until firm peaks are achieved.
  4. Fold the pineapple mixture into the whipped cream gently, being careful not to deflate the cream.
  5. Cut the cooled angel food cake into cubes. Layer these cubes in a trifle dish or individual serving cups with the whipped cream mixture.
  6. Finish with a generous topping of chopped pecans and additional coconut if desired.
