Description

A creamy and tangy homemade ranch dressing that’s perfect for salads, dips, and sandwiches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (up to 1/2 teaspoon, to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, buttermilk, sour cream, and pickle juice. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. Add fresh parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Stir until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. Taste the dressing and adjust the seasonings based on your personal preference.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  5. Before serving, give the dressing a good stir. If it thickens in the fridge, add a splash of buttermilk to loosen it.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free mayonnaise and yogurt. Store in the fridge for up to one week.
