Description
A creamy and tangy homemade ranch dressing that’s perfect for salads, dips, and sandwiches.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp buttermilk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon pickle juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (finely chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (up to 1/2 teaspoon, to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, buttermilk, sour cream, and pickle juice. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add fresh parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Stir until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Taste the dressing and adjust the seasonings based on your personal preference.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Before serving, give the dressing a good stir. If it thickens in the fridge, add a splash of buttermilk to loosen it.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free mayonnaise and yogurt. Store in the fridge for up to one week.
