Description

A bright and refreshing drink that combines juicy cherries, zesty lime, and a touch of honey for natural sweetness, perfect for hot afternoons and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1/4 cup honey or to taste
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime slices and cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the pitted cherries and honey. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the solids if desired.
  3. Add the fresh lime juice and cold water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey.
  5. Serve the limeade over ice cubes, garnished with lime slices and cherries.

Notes

For a fizzy version, replace some of the water with sparkling water. Adjust sweetness to taste as cherries can vary in sweetness.
