- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- ½ lb hot Italian sausage (cooked and crumbled)
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- ¼ cup hot honey (or regular honey + chili flakes)
- Fresh herbs (parsley or basil) for garnish
Instructions
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the hot Italian sausage until browned and fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
- Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza stone or lined baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Layer the pizza with shredded mozzarella cheese, followed by the crumbled sausage and feta cheese.
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Bake the pizza for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Drizzle hot honey over the pizza and sprinkle red pepper flakes if desired.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute turkey sausage. Fresh herbs enhance the flavor, so use them generously.
