Description

Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 4 cups cut green beans (from 2 cans, 1 lb fresh, or one 16 oz frozen package)
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 1/3 cups crispy french fried onions, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add the green beans to the mixture and fold gently until well-coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  5. Bake it in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
  6. Remove the casserole from the oven and top it with 2/3 cup of crispy french fried onions.
  7. Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a creamier casserole, consider adding a splash of sour cream. You can also customize by mixing in other vegetables or cheese.
