- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 4 cups cut green beans (from 2 cans, 1 lb fresh, or one 16 oz frozen package)
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 1/3 cups crispy french fried onions, divided
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Add the green beans to the mixture and fold gently until well-coated.
- Pour the mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
- Bake it in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and top it with 2/3 cup of crispy french fried onions.
- Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a creamier casserole, consider adding a splash of sour cream. You can also customize by mixing in other vegetables or cheese.
