Description

A whimsical dessert that combines textures and flavors with a playful presentation inspired by kawaii culture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g digestive biscuits (or graham crackers)
  • 100g melted butter
  • 400g cream cheese
  • 200g powdered sugar
  • 400ml heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Food coloring (pink, blue, yellow for optional colors)
  • Fresh fruits (berries, mango slices)
  • Edible flowers (for decoration)
  • Sprinkles or colorful candies

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: Crush the digestive biscuits finely and mix with the melted butter until well combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form a firm base. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Make the Mousse: In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the powdered sugar, mixing until well combined. Slowly fold in the heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Colors: Divide the mousse into different bowls and stir in your chosen food coloring to create vibrant layers.
  4. Layer the Mousse: Carefully layer the colored mousse onto the chilled biscuit base. Chill for another 2 to 3 hours, or until set.
  5. Decorate: Once the mousse is set, remove it from the pan and top with fresh fruits, edible flowers, and sprinkles.
  6. Serve: Slice into wedges and serve chilled.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother texture. Adjust sweetness and flavors according to your taste.
