- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (about 280g)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (sugar-free for keto)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 4 slices smoked turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, cream cheese, diced onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix well until fully combined.
- Fold in the crumbled bacon and half of the shredded cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve warm.
Notes
Use warm, softened cream cheese for easy mixing. Adjust BBQ sauce to suit your preference for sweetness and tang.
