Description

Enjoy a guilt-free indulgence with these Delicious Keto Crunchwraps, perfect for cozy dinners or handy lunches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (Unsalted)
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese (Can substitute with dairy-free cream cheese)
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream (Use coconut cream as a low-carb alternative)
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Sharp cheddar for flavor)
  • 1 pound Ground Beef (Can substitute with ground chicken or turkey)
  • 2 tablespoons Taco Seasoning (Homemade or low-sodium)
  • 4 pieces Low-Carb Tortillas (Brands like Mission Carb Balance or almond flour)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream (Substitute with Greek yogurt)
  • 1 cup Lettuce (Shredded iceberg or romaine)
  • 1 medium Tomato (Can replace with bell peppers)
  • 1 cup Extra Cheddar Cheese (Consider adding pepper jack)
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro (Substitute with parsley)
  • 1/2 cup Jalapeño Slices (Optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (Any cooking oil)

Instructions

  1. Cheese Sauce Preparation: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and whisk until smooth. Gradually stir in heavy whipping cream and shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Remove from heat.
  2. Beef Cooking: In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, cook until browned, and stir in taco seasoning. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Tortillas Crisping: Crisp the low-carb tortillas in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side. Set aside.
  4. Crunchwrap Assembly: On a tortilla, layer cheese sauce, seasoned beef, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, extra cheddar cheese, cilantro, and jalapeño slices.
  5. Crunchwrap Cooking: Place a second tortilla on top, fold the edges over to create pleats. Heat more olive oil in a skillet, then cook the crunchwrap seam-side down for about 3-4 minutes until golden, then flip.
  6. Serving: Slice in half and serve with extra sour cream or salsa.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for enhanced flavor. Adjust spice levels based on preference. You can prepare the cheese sauce in advance and experiment with various fillings.
