A hearty, low-carb casserole that combines the flavors of a cheeseburger with the convenience of a casserole, perfect for family dinners.

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 pound cooked bacon, chopped
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (12 oz) package shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, minced garlic, and onion powder over medium-high heat until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain the grease and transfer the mixture to a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Stir in the chopped cooked bacon and spread it evenly in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy whipping cream, salt, pepper, and 3/4 of the shredded cheese. Pour this mixture over the meat and bacon in the casserole dish.
- Top with the remaining cheese and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the casserole is golden and bubbly.
- Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
Feel free to add veggies like diced bell peppers or mushrooms for extra nutrition. Serve with a side salad or sugar-free condiments.
