- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, then add to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
- Slice the chicken and place on top of the pasta.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken beforehand. You can substitute shrimp for chicken for a seafood twist.
