Description

A comforting and juicy meatloaf made with a mix of ground beef and pork, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Spread additional ketchup on top for glaze, if desired.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3 to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
