- 12 Hawaiian Rolls (soft and sweet)
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 4 tbsp Butter (softened)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
- 1 tsp Dried Herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses together.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them completely.
- Spread a thin layer of softened butter on the cut sides of the rolls.
- Sprinkle garlic powder and dried herbs over the butter if using.
- Generously fill each roll with the cheese mixture.
- Close the rolls and brush the tops with a little more butter.
- Place the roll sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the top is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
