Description

Delightful mini grilled cheese Hawaiian rolls combining sweet rolls with gooey melted cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian Rolls (soft and sweet)
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 tbsp Butter (softened)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp Dried Herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses together.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them completely.
  4. Spread a thin layer of softened butter on the cut sides of the rolls.
  5. Sprinkle garlic powder and dried herbs over the butter if using.
  6. Generously fill each roll with the cheese mixture.
  7. Close the rolls and brush the tops with a little more butter.
  8. Place the roll sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the top is golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
