- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 jalapenos, diced (seeds removed for less heat)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, and add a spoonful of the jalapeno mixture in the center.
- Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll tightly.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
