Ingredients

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup dried minced onions
- 2/3 cup wheat crackers
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce together and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, dried onions, crushed wheat crackers, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper, along with half of the ketchup mixture.
- Press the meat mixture into a loaf pan.
- Spread the remaining ketchup mixture on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 60 to 75 minutes.
Notes
Ensure not to overmix the meat mixture for a tender meatloaf. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
