- 2 Chicken breasts
- 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until browned on both sides, then remove from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, add chopped onions and garlic, sautéing until softened.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
- Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and return the chicken to the skillet.
- Cook until the chicken is done and the sauce has thickened.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, let it cook a little longer. You can also substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
