Description

Tender chicken breasts and earthy mushrooms enveloped in a creamy sauce, perfect for a cozy evening or a weekend gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until browned on both sides, then remove from the skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add chopped onions and garlic, sautéing until softened.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and return the chicken to the skillet.
  7. Cook until the chicken is done and the sauce has thickened.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, let it cook a little longer. You can also substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
