Description

A healthy and quick treat that combines oats and apples for a delicious start to your day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 large apple (peeled and chopped)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a blender or bowl, combine all ingredients except for 1/4 of the oats and blend until smooth.
  3. Mix in the remaining oats.
  4. Line a small baking pan with parchment paper and pour the batter into it.
  5. Bake for 20–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool completely, then slice and refrigerate in an airtight container for at least 1 hour.

Notes

For best flavor, use ripe and sweet apples. Allow the cake to cool completely for better slicing.
