Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened.
  2. Add ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, and black beans.
  5. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve hot, and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider using Worcestershire sauce. You can also adjust spice levels and add other vegetables or beans.
