Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper; cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, and macaroni.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. If desired, sprinkle with shredded cheese before serving.
