- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, 1/4 cup ketchup, chopped onion, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread the remaining 1/4 cup ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a moist meatloaf, don’t overmix the ingredients; just mix until combined. You can customize flavor by adding extra seasonings.
