Description

A delicious dessert combining creamy cheesecake and crunchy Oreos, perfect for parties and celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 63 Oreos
  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Crush 30 Oreos and mix with 1/2 cup melted butter to form a crust. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add sour cream and mix well.
  5. Fold in 33 chopped Oreos (some crushed, some halved) into the cheesecake mixture.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Let cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. For ganache, heat heavy cream over low heat, add chocolate chips, and stir until smooth.
  10. Pour ganache over cheesecake and top with whipped cream and remaining Oreos before serving.

Notes

Make sure cream cheese is at room temperature for a smoother mix. Don’t overmix the batter to avoid a tough texture. Allow cheesecake to cool completely before refrigerating.
