A healthy spin on traditional pizza, this Pizza Cottage Cheese Bake combines creamy cottage cheese with delicious pizza flavors, making it perfect for lunch or dinner.

- 2 cups full-fat cottage cheese
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1 cup pasta sauce (marinara or pizza sauce)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup mixed pizza toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, eggs, oregano, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
- Spread a thin layer of pasta sauce at the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour half of the cottage cheese mixture into the baking dish, smoothing it out evenly.
- Add your choice of pizza toppings over the cottage cheese layer, followed by another layer of pasta sauce.
- Pour the remaining cottage cheese mixture over the toppings, and top with the rest of the pasta sauce and remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use quality toppings for a better taste and experiment with different cheeses to customize the flavor. Adjust the amount of sauce for a drier or saucier bake.
