Description
Delicious and simple appetizer of prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella bites, perfect for parties or as a snack.

- 1 package prosciutto
- 1 package mozzarella balls (about 12 oz)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Open the package of prosciutto and gently separate the slices, laying them flat.
- Take the mozzarella balls out of their packaging and drain any excess liquid.
- If the mozzarella balls are large, cut them in half for easier wrapping.
- Place one mozzarella ball in the center of each prosciutto slice and wrap it around the cheese.
- Heat the olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat and add dried oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then remove from heat.
- Brush the olive oil mixture over each prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella bite.
- Arrange the bites on the baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes and sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Serve warm and pair with balsamic glaze or fresh tomato sauce.
