Description

A classic pumpkin pie with a creamy texture and spiced flavor, perfect for fall celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 store-bought refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 ¾ cups pumpkin puree
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¾ cups whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Press the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and place it on a baking tray.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
  4. Add whole milk and whisk until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into the pie crust and optionally cover crust edges with foil.
  6. Bake for about 60-70 minutes until filling is mostly set.
  7. Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack.
  8. Chill in the fridge for about 5 hours before serving.

Notes

Consider serving with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
