Description

A delightful dish featuring roasted mushrooms in a nutty browned butter sauce, perfect as a side or main dish.


Ingredients

  • 16 oz mushrooms, cleaned
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic and thyme to the browned butter and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour the browned butter mixture over the mushrooms and toss to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until tender and golden.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

If storing leftovers, let the mushrooms cool and store in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat before serving.
