- 16 oz mushrooms, cleaned
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Clean the mushrooms and place them on a baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
- Add minced garlic and thyme to the browned butter and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour the browned butter mixture over the mushrooms and toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until tender and golden.
- Serve warm.
Notes
If storing leftovers, let the mushrooms cool and store in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat before serving.
