Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of day-old bread, cubed
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  2. In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes with the milk. Let it soak for about 30 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the soaked bread and stir in the raisins if using.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and the pudding is set.
  7. Allow it to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

Use day-old bread for the best texture. Let the pudding cool slightly before serving to enhance the flavors.
