- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar

- Butter, for greasing the baking dish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
- In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes with the milk. Let it soak for about 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture over the soaked bread and stir in the raisins if using.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and the pudding is set.
