Description

A luxurious yet approachable spinach casserole combining creamy textures with crispy topnotes, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh spinach (or 2 bags, chopped)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced onion and garlic; sauté until soft and translucent.
  4. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Mix in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and crispy.
