Description

A vibrant dish that combines the rich flavors of grilled salmon with zesty tropical mango salsa, perfect for summertime gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, maple syrup, and spices to create a marinade. Marinate the salmon fillets for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the mango salsa by dicing the mango, red onion, and cilantro. Combine these in a bowl, add lime juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated salmon for about 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through.
  4. Serve the salmon topped with the mango salsa.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Don’t overcook the salmon; it should flake easily but still have a little pink in the center.
