Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 ripe mango, diced
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, maple syrup, and spices to create a marinade. Marinate the salmon fillets for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the mango salsa by dicing the mango, red onion, and cilantro. Combine these in a bowl, add lime juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated salmon for about 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through.
- Serve the salmon topped with the mango salsa.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Don’t overcook the salmon; it should flake easily but still have a little pink in the center.
