Delicious Salted Caramel Apple Crumble Bars filled with sweet apples and drizzled with rich salted caramel, perfect for fall.

- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples (about 3 medium)
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt; mix well.
- Add flour to the wet ingredients, stirring until the mixture becomes crumbly.
- Press about two-thirds of this mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- In a separate bowl, toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg; spread evenly over the crust.
- Drizzle salted caramel sauce generously over the apples.
- Crumble the remaining mixture over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares or rectangles.
