Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef (chuck roast or brisket)
  • 4 packs Ramen noodles
  • 6 cups Beef broth
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger (minced)
  • 1/2 cup Green onions (sliced)
  • 2 cups Vegetables (such as mushrooms, bok choy, or carrots)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 4 cups Water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the beef in a slow cooker and pour in the beef broth and water until the beef is submerged.
  2. Add the soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger to the slow cooker.
  3. Season generously with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  4. Cook on low for about 360-480 minutes, or until the beef becomes tender and easily shredded.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, add your choice of vegetables to the slow cooker.
  6. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions while you wait for the slow cooker to finish.
  7. Serve the beef mixture over the ramen noodles and garnish with sliced green onions and a light drizzle of sesame oil.
