- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet of chicken gravy mix
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or mashed potatoes for serving
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Mix together the chicken gravy mix, chicken broth, and cream of chicken soup in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook on low for 360-480 minutes (6-8 hours) or on high for 180-240 minutes (3-4 hours), until the chicken is cooked through and shreds easily.
- Serve over cooked rice or mashed potatoes.
Notes
For best results, shred the chicken after it’s cooked for better sauce coverage and flavor distribution. You can also add frozen chicken breasts; just extend the cooking time by about an hour.
