- 2 pounds baby carrots
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the baby carrots in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix together honey, melted butter, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the honey mixture over the carrots and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until carrots are tender.
- Before serving, garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Make sure to melt the butter beforehand for a smooth glaze. Feel free to add extra cinnamon or a pinch of nutmeg for enhanced flavor.
