Description

A simple yet delicious spaghetti dish with garlic and fresh spinach, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 6 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant and lightly golden.
  3. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet with the spinach and garlic. Add red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the garlic, as it can become bitter. Use fresh spinach for the best flavor and texture.
