- 1 cup ground beef

Instructions
- Peel and boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Mix the cooked beef with cheese and optional seasonings.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a baking dish, scoop a layer of mashed potatoes, make a well in the center, fill it with the beef and cheese mixture, and top it with more mashed potatoes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
