Description

A colorful dish featuring juicy steak and tender shrimp tossed with fresh vegetables and savory sauces over tender noodles.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz lo mein or yakisoba noodles
  • 1/2 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup baby spinach or bok choy
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a hot wok or large skillet.
  2. Toss in the steak cubes, season lightly with salt and pepper, and sear until browned.
  3. Add the shrimp and sauté until they turn pink and curl up.
  4. Add minced garlic, onion, bell pepper, carrots, and greens. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  5. Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Stir to combine.
  6. Return the steak and shrimp to the pan and stir well until heated through.
  7. Enjoy your meal!

Notes

Prep ingredients in advance for quicker cooking. Avoid overcrowding the pan for optimal searing.
