Description

Make your own taco seasoning to enhance the flavors of your favorite Mexican dishes while controlling ingredients and salt content.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients.
  2. Mix well until thoroughly blended.
  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
  4. Use 2-3 tablespoons of the seasoning per pound of meat or as desired for tacos, burritos, or bowls.

Notes
