A festive twist on a classic drink, combining traditional margarita flavors with the warm essence of autumn for your Thanksgiving celebration.


Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila (blanco or reposado)
  • 1 oz Cointreau or triple sec
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 oz cranberry juice
  • 1/2 oz maple syrup (or agave syrup)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Lime wedge for rimming
  • Fresh cranberries for garnish
  • Orange slices for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick for stirring

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glasses by rimming them with a lime wedge and dipping into a plate of sugar mixed with ground cinnamon.
  2. Juice the lime and orange into a measuring cup.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, maple syrup, and a pinch of ground cinnamon.
  4. Add ice to the shaker and shake well for about 10-15 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into prepared glasses filled with ice.
