- 4–5 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or goat cheese)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and place it in a tart pan.
- Layer the sliced tomatoes over the pastry.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the pastry is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
