Description

A comforting beverage that combines the rich flavors of black tea with spices and the smoothness of milk, enhanced by a hint of vanilla.


Ingredients

  • 2 Black tea bags
  • ¾ cup Water
  • 1 cup Milk (any kind)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Ginger
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom
  • ¼ teaspoon Cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • Brown sugar or honey (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the water, tea bags, and all spices. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat and remove the tea bags. Let steep for another 5 minutes.
  3. In another saucepan, gently heat the milk over medium-low heat without boiling.
  4. Froth the warm milk until creamy.
  5. Strain the tea mixture into a mug, stir in vanilla extract and sweetener, then pour the frothed milk on top. Stir and enjoy!
