A fun and nutritious recipe for making chewy gelatin treats that can be customized in various flavors.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water (½ cup hot, ½ cup cold)
- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (1 packet if using Knox)
- 1–2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice (optional)
- 1 teaspoon honey or stevia (or sweetener of choice)
Instructions
- Heat ½ cup of water until it’s steaming, but not boiling.
- Sprinkle the gelatin over the hot water slowly while stirring until it’s fully dissolved.
- Add apple cider vinegar or lemon juice along with your sweetener, and stir well to combine.
- Pour in the remaining cold ½ cup of water to help cool the mixture.
- Transfer the liquid into a glass dish or silicone mold of your choice.
- Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes, or until the mixture is fully set.
- Once set, cut the gelatin into cubes and store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Notes
Make sure the gelatin completely dissolves. Experiment with sweeteners and chill for longer if needed.
