Description
Delightful white chocolate blondies with a chewy, buttery base, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 1/2 – 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 2 whole eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch or 8×8 inch square pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, use an electric or stand mixer to beat the softened butter and both sugars together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Incorporate the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Gradually add the flour mixture in two increments, stirring until a thick batter forms. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter in the prepared pan and sprinkle extra white chocolate chips on top if desired.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is light golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the blondies to cool before pulling them out using the parchment paper. Cut into 16 squares and enjoy!
