Description

A delightful twist on traditional pizza, this white pizza features creamy ricotta, gooey mozzarella, and savory beef prosciutto drizzled with hot honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1216 oz your favorite pizza dough (room temp)
  • 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 oz grated parmesan
  • 23 oz beef prosciutto
  • A few stems fresh oregano
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Pinch red pepper flake
  • 1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F-500°F (245°C-260°C) with a pizza stone or steel inside. Let the pizza dough rest at room temperature. Lightly flour a surface and your hands. Gently stretch the dough to your desired size and thickness, avoiding tears. Transfer to parchment paper or a floured pizza peel.
  2. Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a border for the crust. Scatter shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the ricotta. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the mozzarella.
  3. Gently tear or drape the beef prosciutto slices over the cheese. Strip fresh oregano leaves from the stems and scatter them evenly over the pizza.
  4. In a small bowl, combine honey, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, and balsamic vinegar. Whisk until well combined to create the hot honey mixture.
  5. Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone or steel. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned. In the final minute of baking, or immediately after removing from the oven, drizzle the hot honey mixture artfully over the pizza.
  6. Allow the pizza to rest for a minute or two before slicing and serving.

Notes

Room temperature dough is easier to stretch; don’t overload with toppings; fresh ingredients enhance flavor.
