Description

Moist and delicious yogurt muffins, easy to make and customizable with different flavors.


Ingredients

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole-milk Greek yogurt
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup (or honey)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or variations

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, maple syrup, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  5. Choose your flavor add-in and fold it gently into the batter.
  6. Scoop about ¼ cup of batter into each muffin cup.
  7. Bake for about 16–18 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for smoother batter and do not overmix.
