Description

Handheld wraps filled with smoky BBQ chicken, zesty coleslaw, and tangy dressing. Perfect for quick meals or lunch on the go, these wraps are a delicious balance of crisp, creamy, and savory textures.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
2 cups coleslaw mix
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
4 large flour tortillas
Cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
2 tablespoons cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)

Instructions

Preheat a griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with oil or non-stick cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, toss coleslaw mix with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar until evenly coated. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine cooked shredded chicken with 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce; mix well.
Place a tortilla on the griddle and spread a quarter of the coleslaw mixture in the center. Add a quarter of the BBQ chicken mixture on top. Add a spoonful of remaining BBQ sauce if desired. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top if using
Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll up tightly to enclose the filling.
Repeat with remaining tortillas and ingredients.
Place the wraps on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped cilantro and a drizzle of additional BBQ sauce for finishing.
For easier handling, slice the wraps diagonally before serving.

Notes

Use store-bought or homemade coleslaw mix for best texture. Leftover grilled or poached chicken works well. Add jalapeños or avocado for extra flavor. Chill the coleslaw in the fridge before assembling the wraps to keep the tortillas from getting soggy.
