Description
Tender halal-approved chicken thighs bathed in a herbaceous ranch-gravy sauce. Slow-cooked to fork-tender perfection with minimal effort.
Ingredients
Chicken Thighs (halal-certified), 1 lb (bone-in preferred)
Ranch Dressing Mix, 1 packet (non-GMO
Garlic Powder, ½ tsp
Brown Gravy Mix, 1 packet
Cream of Chicken Soup, 10.5 oz can
Vegetable Broth, 1½ cups
Cornstarch (2 tbsp)
Water (2 tbsp)
Black Pepper, to taste
Instructions
Pat chicken dry and season with ranch mix, garlic powder, and pepper
In slow cooker, whisk gravy mix, soup, and broth
Bury chicken in liquid
Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours or high 3-4 hours
Mix cornstarch and water in small bowl
Remove chicken and stir slurry into sauce
Serve with sauce over mashed potatoes or rice
Notes
Seal chicken in foil for deeper seasoning
Replace beef broth with tea-infused vegetable broth
Let chicken rest 5 minutes post-cooking
