Description

Crunchy flour tortillas filled with smoky grilled shrimp, tangy Caesar dressing, crisp romaine, and zesty Parmesan. This halal-friendly Mediterranean dish combines bold flavors with satisfying textures in a portable wrap format.


Ingredients

1 lb extra-large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 fresh garlic cloves)
1 tsp paprika (preferably smoked)
1/2 tsp black pepper, freshly ground

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

4 large flour tortillas

Instructions

Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat
In a bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, salt, and lemon juice
Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until charred and opaque
While grilling, prepare Caesar dressing by whisking mayonnaise, Parmesan, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and garlic
Brush dressing evenly on warmed tortillas to prevent sogginess
Layer grilled shrimp, chopped romaine, and additional Parmesan on each tortilla
Fold tortillas into wraps (taco or burrito style)

Notes

For a halal option: Use tamari-based Worcestershire sauce or omit entirely
Replace shrimp with white fish like cod for a different texture
Use lettuce wraps instead of tortillas for a low-carb version
Add chopped hard-boiled eggs for extra richness
Store leftover dressing in airtight container up to 3 days
